L-3 Valmarine's VALMATIC Platinum™ for new cruise liner

The new 306 m long cruiseliner Carnival Breeze will be equipped with L-3 Valmarine’s new Integrated Automation System.
L-3 Valmarine has been awarded a new order for the new technology platform VALMATIC Platinum™. Carnival Breeze, the third ship in the 130.000 GRT Carnival Dream class, the largest cruise ship for Carnival ever constructed, has been selected to be equipped
with L-3 Valmarine’s Integrated Automations System (IAS) based on the VALMATIC Platinum™ platform. The fact that Carnival Cruise Lines selects VALMATIC Platinum™ automation system for their new cruise ship verifies L-3 Valmarine's strong position within the cruise market says Finn Inge Langeland, Managing Director of L-3 Valmarine.

The Platinum series features system-wide adoption of standardized hardware and software components, providing improved quality and reliability of operation, while simplifying ship management and maintenance procedures
In addition to the Machinery, PMS and HVAC automation system delivered by L-3 Valmarine the complete delivery from L-3 Marine & Power Systems also comprises a NACOS Platinum Integrated Bridge System from SAM Electronics and auxiliary systems and sensors, engineering, cabling, installation and console production from APSS.
The order includes an option for a further Carnival Dream class ship.
